Australia is located in the southern Pacific Ocean. Australia’s capital is Canberra.

Australia’s currency is dollar and has been since the 14th of February 1966. It was replacing the pounds, shillings and pence.
Australia’s formal government name is the Commonwealth of Australia. Australia has a Prime Minister and his name is Kevin Rudd.
There is optional Pre School,Tafe and University. High school is an optional thing for some people. We have a good quality of education for all sorts of people like Iraq and Pakistan.
Australia is just under the equator and right next door to New Zealand and just above Antarctica.

Australia has a hilly landscape for example the Great Dividing Range and Uluru which was known as Ayer’s Rock. Uluru is in the middle of Australia it is also in northern territory.
Australia has lots of rare types of plants
like Grevillea batrachioides, Acacia pubescens//,// Phaius and Hakea.
Australia has nice restaurants and nice botanic gardens, but it has some features that other countries don’t, like the Harbour Bridge in Sydney, New South Wales. It’s a true Australian icon.
